Happy Birthday, Evelyn Rose! | Puyallup Birth Photographer
Jessica's due date was December 29 and had scheduled an induction for January 6 at 4:30am, just in case little miss Evelyn decides to come later than sooner. Christmas came and passed, the princess still hadn't arrived. New Years came and passed, you guessed it, still no baby. As the days got closer to January 6 I would text Jessica at least once a day to see how she was feeling and if she was feeling any contractions... but the little Miss was holding on tight.
On January 6 at 3:58am I received a text message from Jessica stating that she was on her way to the hospital because her water broke! I had been suffering from insomnia and I literally had just fallen asleep around 3:15am. I was knocked out when Jessica sent me the text message so I didn't even read it until 4:40am when my alarm went off. In full panic mode I responded to her text message, hoping I didn't miss anything... and I didn't. PHEW! I normally arrive at the hospital when my momma's are around 5cm dilated. So around 10am is when Jessica let me know she was about 4.5cm. So, I packed up my things and headed for Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, Washington to capture the entrance of Little Miss Evelyn!
Jessica pushed from 2:57pm until 6:35pm! Like I mentioned, that sweet girl wanted to stay nice and cozy in her mommy! But she finally made her big debut and came out with a beautiful head of long hair and weighing 9lbs exactly! She is so precious and I am so blessed to have been able to capture this amazing day for Jessica and Terry. Keep scrolling so you can see this beautiful day for yourself!
I just want to say Thank You. Thank you for your trust in allowing me to capture the birth day of Evelyn. I am beyond excited for the both of you as new parents. She is as beautiful as ever and I still cannot believe how Evelyn is her momma's clone! Jessica, you did such an amazing job during labor and I hope one day I could have the strength you have when it comes my time to have a baby! Terry, I am BEYOND happy that you were able to be come to welcome your daughter into your arms and be there to support Jessica. You both are amazing people and I want to wish you all nothing but the absolute best in the years to come. Thank you, so, so, so much for allowing me to freeze this beautiful day for you!
