Us Plus One! | Tacoma Maternity Photographer
On this day, (New Years Day) I was already scheduled to photograph another family at noon. I knew Cora was going to give birth within the next month and we've tried planning her maternity session several times but our schedules always conflicted one way or another. I just told told her the afternoon of New Years day that I couldn't live with myself if she ended up giving birth and not having any maternity photos before hand!
So, I texted Cora about an hour before I had my first session with another family and told her I could meet her and her family at Fort Steilacoom Park around 3 or 3:30pm just to do a few photos. Well, it happened.
I got done with my first session, grabbed a quick bite to eat, then headed to Fort Steilacoom Park. It was a beautifully sunny day... freezing, but, it was sunny and that's all that mattered. We met up at 3pm and our session was done in less than 35 minutes. It was by far the quickest session I've ever photographed and for being COMPLETELY last minute, with only just a few hours for them to get ready, the pictures came out wonderful! Since it's winter time, the sunset happens at a different time every day and the days keep getting shorter. I'm so glad we met at 3pm because it happened perfectly during golden hour! Just about every image has yummy sunlight!!
Sit back and swoon with me...
You're beautiful and so is your little family. Every year I love photographing you, Mr. C, and Max. I love being able to watch your family grow and it's truly going to break my heart when you guys move out of Washington! I cannot wait to meet Baby E and I am mostly excited to see Mr. C be a big brother! I wish you all nothing but the best of luck and happiness for the years to come and can only pray that our paths will cross again! Love you all!!!
