Welcome Home Brandon! | JBLM Homecoming Photographer
Brandon was flying on Alaskan Airlines, flight 29... by knowing this, Caitlin (and myself) were constantly checking the board to make sure the flight was on time and to check and see if it had landed. We arrived at Sea-Tac Airport about 5:30pm and the flight wasn't expected to land for another hour or so... or so we thought. His flight actually arrived earlier than expected! So, yay on getting there early!
Fast forward to when his flight lands, I swear it felt like the longest 30 minutes waiting for Brandon to come up the escalator! But... he made it... and the ONLY thing I heard out of that entire airport was his comment when he laid eyes on Caitlin for the first time in 7 months: "Oh My God... Oh My God... Oh My God...," over and over and over again. I admit, it had me in tears. His reaction was absolutely amazing. I've never seen smiles so wide and happiness glow so bright in two people before. I adore these two.
So, enough of me blabbing... here are the photos of what I just tried to explain... you'll just have to see for yourself!
Thank you both for allowing me to be there for your on this day. The love you both share is incredible! The happiness that flowed through the both of you was so pure and joyous when you had your first face-to-face embrace in months! From one military spouse to another, thank you, Caitlin, for standing by and supporting Brandon. And, Brandon, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for supporting our country! Always remember that when you both are away from each other, each day away is just another day closer to being united again. Then it's moments like this that make those months apart so worth it! I wish you both nothing but the brightest future and I really hope you both are blessed in the years to come!
